Terrible Ticks

Each year, we are diagnosing an increasing number of dogs with Lyme disease at our hospital
Lyme disease is often debilitating and cannot be cured
Because ticks can be as small as a poppy seed and easily go undetected, we recommend an annual screening test for tick-borne disease (Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis and Anaplasmosis) for every dog
Along with year-round tick prevention, we recommend vaccinating against Lyme disease especially for high-risk dogs
